Aluminium rainwater systems
Aluminium is the workhorse of contemporary and large-roof projects: light, corrosion-resistant, available in deep-flow sections and finished in any RAL colour.
We roll seamless aluminium gutter on site in continuous lengths and also install extruded and cast aluminium ranges where a heritage profile is required.

Seamless, extruded and cast aluminium
Seamless gutter is formed on site to the exact length of the run, so a long elevation can be hung with no joints between stop ends — fewer joints means fewer failure points and a cleaner line. Extruded and cast aluminium ranges cover ogee, moulded and heritage profiles where a jointed system is preferred or where matching existing goods matters.
Deep-flow and larger sections handle the roof areas found on barn conversions, country houses and long agricultural roof planes that overwhelm standard 112mm domestic guttering.
- On-site-rolled seamless gutter
- Deep-flow and oversized sections
- Cast iron effect profiles
- Round, square and rectangular downpipes
- Full RAL powder-coat range
- Concealed and architectural fixing options
Where aluminium is the right specification
New build and contemporary houses, where a discreet powder-coated line suits the architecture. Large roof areas, where the capacity of cast iron sections would require additional downpipes. Tall or awkward elevations, where the weight of cast iron makes access disproportionately expensive.
It is also the practical answer on listed and conservation work where a cast iron appearance is required but the fabric or the access will not carry the real thing — a discussion best had with the conservation officer at design stage rather than on site.
Finish and longevity
Polyester powder coating over pre-treated aluminium is stable for decades and needs washing rather than repainting. Colour-matching across gutter, downpipe, fascia trim and coping is straightforward, which matters when the rainwater goods are meant to disappear into the architecture.
