Frequently Asked

Common questions

Do you replace timber fascias and soffits with aluminium?+

Yes. We routinely strip out failing timber or uPVC fascias and soffits and replace them with powder coated aluminium boards — a clean, maintenance-free finish that won't rot, warp or need repainting.

What is a coping and when do I need one?+

A coping is a capping that sits on top of a parapet, wall or balcony to throw water clear of the masonry below. Aluminium copings are pressed to suit the wall width and fall, and are typically used on flat-roofed extensions, parapet walls and contemporary new builds.

What colours and finishes are available?+

Aluminium fascias, soffits and copings are available in the full RAL palette in matt, satin or textured powder coat finishes. Anthracite grey, black, white and heritage-style cast iron effect are the most popular choices.

Do you fit fascias and soffits alongside new guttering?+

Yes — fascias, soffits, copings and guttering are usually fitted together as a single eaves package so the lines, colours and falls work as one detail.

Do you work on modern homes as well as period properties?+

Absolutely. While we are best known for heritage rainwater goods, our aluminium fascia, soffit and coping work suits modern family homes, extensions and new builds throughout the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Berkshire.
